Lately a cannot add an email link in the interactive Hyperlink Properties panel. I select email. put in the email address but the okay button is grayed out so cannot submit it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. I thought that maybe it was the hyphen or the RU at the end of mail but sometimes I can get it to work if I put in a regular email and if the ok does not gray out then I can type in the Russian email and the ok will work. I think this is some kind of bug.

I use to be able to convert Color docs into Greyscale when converting to PDF from Publisher. Seems like since the last two upgrades it doesnt work. Even converting the Pub file to Greyscale first and saving to PDF saves it back in color??? What the heck?

Every month I have to create a huge index of names of chess players for a chess publications I publish for a client. It indeed is tedious to manually select and mark hundreds of names and constantly update the index. Not sure why you can't create an index from a style? If all those names are in a particular style such as a certain font, bold and italicized and made into a new style you would think you could select that style and have those names added automatically to the index list and then the indexing software could add the page reference to the index. Probably easy to say but hard to do, but sure would be great to have!

I have the same problem. Cant download anything. I am on windows 10 and have tried two different browsers but after selecting "choose your pack" and "I want this" nothing happens?????

Have the same problem. Brand new fast computer with 16 GB Ram and on a 150 page book it took over 5 minutes to move 5 pages up two places. Terrible, and I cant go get coffee because I don't drink coffee! Okay, tried it again! It took two minutes to move one page and redraw my screen but still everything was locked up. had to wait another 2 and a half minutes before I could do anything with publisher! Wow!

So I found out the Crashes where occurring when I was selecting body type to change to a new text style. It was only happening when selected type while crossing over into a two page spread. As long as I selected type on a single page there was no problem, but would immediately crash when going from page to page. So it was not randomly crashing but only when selecting crossover type! I have had no other problems since i quit changing text styles on spreads! Lifestyle Magazine.afpubMust be a bug somewhere! Every since I loaded the new version 1.8.0.584 in Publisher it crashes like every 5 or 10 minutes! I am working on a 150 page book and I have to save every few minutes????

PDFs made from Microsoft Word are not keeping their styles when opened into Affinity Publisher which means I have to recreate all new styles. Is there any way around this? If I place a word document it keeps all the sty;e names but comes in as a different size?
