I’ve watched the various forums for a reasonable answer to this request and seen the reasons why people say it is difficult to impossible for this to be implemented at present. It seems to me that the solution is for Affinity to produce a programme that is purely for ePub output. Ideally it would be possible to open an affinity publisher programme in it and manipulate the design. For example; on import the programme would, ask what text you want to import, know how to deal with headers and footers. Strip out extraneous commands. Prepare indexes. Have protocols for displaying graphics, photos etc. All in a wysiwyg way and flexible enough to take into account the various kindles, tablets and mobiles that the end users have. I would be prepared to pay for this.

That's a very interesting post and explains why it was all working fine until I started moving things about. Hopefully this will get sorted soon.

I've set up a baseline and a series of text styles for a book. In the text style I always click on align to baseline but I am finding that when I place new text into boxes the text is not aligning with the baseline. When I go into preview mode the text boxes turn blue. If I then zoom into the text box I can see that this is made up of many fine lines. I probably just have not ticked the right box somewhere along the line. All help appreciated.

Hi I'm using Affinity photo v 1.7.3 on a mac with Mojave and I recently got rid of the panels on the right hand side to view a document I was working on. When I decided to go back to the way it was, I could not find the history panel to put it into the side panel with layers etc. I can not find any instructions as to how this is achieved. Any help would be appreciated. Duncan
