Hi all, apologies for the confusion - I realize 'deleting' the thread is unhelpful but have tried to add the issue back but I've waited too long. Basically, in Windows, after using Tab or "Toggle UI", the panels themselves weren't returning when toggling UI back on. The Windows > Studio > Show Left Sidebar / Show Right Sidebar options were shown as enabled but grayed out. It seems however that it was as simple as disabling "Hide Studio" under the same menu, but I struggled to find solutions for this online and had a bit of tunnel vision when reading the solutions that were available, mostly struggling with the View menu. Anyway, I initially tried to 'delete' the post because it wasn't actually a bug.
Ali - I see your point about it being different versions much like Microsoft has their once-off purchase options every few years, like Office 2021, Office 2024, etc. as well as their cloud / subscription-based options. The reason I think it left a bad taste in my mouth is it was never advertised as a once off purchase that would be outdated in a few years and that you would need to pay again if you wanted access to better tools. It was always implied that any future additions would be part of the same product. V1 was never a thing until there was V2, at least as far as I can recall. It came across as a by-product of realizing more money could be made simply because many of the tools they could now offer were so badly sought after up until that point as Adobe had been the only other alternative at the time. That's how it came across; if many others have the same 'confusion', perhaps the marketing or wording should have been better managed. Either way, if I am wrong, then I apologize.
Anyway, hopefully the screenshot works this time for anyone who wants insight into the initial problem.
