Yes, that's perfectly fine, I think most user want it.
But I don't think it's okay to feel offended and concerned that the bug, that was reported 3 hours after the beta release, was "still" not fixed. And that's what Garry mentioned - nothing else.
Repeating and constantly reminding you of already reported errors will certainly not help to eliminate them.
A different situation would occur if the beta release stated that the bug had already been fixed - then, of course, re-reporting the bug is justified.
With all due respect: there is nothing broken. It just doesn't work as you wish. It is fair to ask for improvements but I find it a bit unfair to call it broken.
