Editing a mask?

This is so frustrating. It does not work in Affinity Photo 2 like the guy from Affinity says it does. Dragging the mask thumbnail over the layer thumbnail does *nothing*. Extreme balldrop by Affinity. Attached image shows the menu you get on right click. Edit mask... is not there.

Defaults – How to Synchronize or Save?

The OP had a good question, and I have it too: why is "Synchronize from Selection" grayed out, and how do make it so that it's not grayed out?

Exporting Along Guides

It's 2021, and as far as I can tell, slices still don't snap to guides. Also making guides is pretty difficult as well. Have I missed an upgrade? I'm on 1.9.
