Hello, i have no begin of reply to my pots, i'm going crazy, i just can't work on a raw since the introducing of 32 bits ; raws are supposed to be displayed thru a RGB space, or ROMM, not really clear for me, but for sure, it needs a color space to display some colors, i understand this profile is internal to develop persona, i don't need and i can't choose by myself, i have just to open my raw and develp persona displays it with colors thru a RGB space ; but in my case it displays a totally black pixeled picture like if i attempt to display a document with no profile in photo persona ; if i assign a profile by clicking on develop or making an hdr, then return to develop, it also displayed with color, but the original raw without profil in it of course is displayed as a black picture . So something is missing somewhere ? a profile in an affinity library ? in my color sync profiles, i 've download ROMM and putted it with over profiles and verified all library and profiles, and found a CAMERA RGB PROFIL in system/frameworks/ICAdevices, so in case i have added ROMM in it and import it into photo, but ... i found no solution with profiles ; then i turn myself to 32 bits , on my mac if i choose 32 bit output, or if i make a hdr, the picture is displayed totally black until i check the button "unmanaged" in the 32 bits preview, so in develop persona this possibility doesn't exist, and there is no preset for that, perhaps this explain that ; so this point should be considerer as a missing feature ?! i have watched many tutorials many times, i have read and read again, checked the posts, used translator to understand, token mass of aspirin, i have tried to find something in the propertylists any where in the mac, and now the rest for me is to inspect the threads on the "console" hoping i will find something, it's crazy !!!!! i have a software with witch one i just can't work ???? could someone scream to a moderators ??? pleaaaaaase !!!!!!

Hello, when i open a raf, develop persona displays a totally black picture, like the same effect when i develop as 32 bit with "unmanaged" no checked in the preview ; without picture to see i can't adjust tones, i must develop and then come back to develop persona, but when i do that the higlights are definitively lost, so i had to quit my doc, re-open and i can just adjust exposure looking at the histogram, but not the tones (ecrêtage in french), and nothing of the rest, it's a problem, and it's cruel ... thank you ! oh i precise that was not the case with 1.5 version, and raf is openned as 32 bits by default, and the parameters to 16 bits does only work for the development, not at the first openning ! so as i can't check any "managed" like in the 32 bits preview before opening a raw, i have no solution !!! am i definitively out with my macbook late 2007 and Lion ? re-thank you !!

Hello, i made a mistake in photo persona tonight in last beta, i did : file/open recent/my doc ; but i've forgot this doc was in an external hdd that was not connected at this time : at the top of the screen i had "affinity photo beta", for the rest only empty interface, and wait, and nothing ; them i realized my mistake and wanted to quit AF but it opened a dialog box "a document is being developed, please close doc before quit", something like that, but i couldn't close nothing because there was nothing opened ; then retry, but nothing to do ; so i had to breakdown AF passing by the Activity monitor, not a problem but a no way situation for affinity photo beta and some little more loosing time the user . thanks :huh:

Hello, your picture is burned, so you use 32 bit raw output format to recover details and use 32 bits preview to see and treat it, then if you attempt to change the color format of the document or export it to 16 or 8 bits the result is the same as if you had use 16 bits output, and not as you expected, what you can see on the screen ; so the simple way is to display the 32 bits preview at the size you want in the limits of your screen possibilities and make a selective capture by " cmd-maj-4 " then you have a png 8 bits that should be modify, re-export, shared on the net ; of course it's limited and the maximum size of the picture is the one of the screenshot, but it can save burned pictures from the trash, and do not require a specific soft to be opened, it can be used to make previews pictures too . I precise i did that because i use old 2007 macbook that is very limited and slow . thank you for reading ...

Well, i am half-stupid for the time ; i looked the videos again and saw a possible check on "unmanaged" in the 32 bit preview, tried and it's ok with 32 bit output, but it doesn't stay checked at re-opening AF, do someone have the rest of the way ?

hello, still the same problem with beta 6 since the 1st, raw is opened as rvba/32 (HDR) and it makes a black picture while parameter is set on rvba/16 ; i still have to develop and come back from photo to develop persona ; see the shots ... no reply found in videos, no reply to my 1st post, is it so simple that i can't see ???? please !!!!!!

i re-opened the raw with the studio in default place and the correctors works, the gum too, but not the shortcut "alt+" it's the same with "cap+" or "maj+" "in french" i made a WB layer then tried the corrector brush, it doesn't work any more, i deleted the layer, it's still doesn't work ... with the default suppression tool it doesn't work on a layer but only on the background ...

it's me again, i tried perspective tools and crop, grids or lines appears for both, i can move it but nothing happen to my picture … perhaps i can't find how to use it, i'm very new in photograph and soft ... with corrector brus-etc shortcut indicate "alt +"but it just makes beeps … i don't understand, in the first version i was able to erase anything, the replacement selection was done automatically ; for sure Lion is not priority but soft is less good for me at each new version ...

hi ! i don't know ho to say in inglish, i'll try : on Lion gums tools does not work and sometimes does, and sometimes after using gum the setting of the layer is canceled, and i can't see the setting of all layers i don't know how to see them, when i'm return on a layer with curb setting for example it's open a new curb window with no setting and i can't see what i have done before, its the same with all settings, so it's not clear ...

i meant interrupt long processing for big work of old computers, not for all my bad clicks, for the rest it's always possible to come back by using edition menu ; to delete i'd prefer click right on a selected object, i usually use back space for characters to minimize risks with bad multiselection . in zoom mode the picture could be moved with hand tool by spacebar if i put the trackpad button, it's also possible to stay in hand tool and press cmd to obtain the zoom and ability to select a zone, but for more perhaps you should consider zoom mode as a temporally tool, i think like osx the best and simple way is not the more visible but the more direct and efficient .

my rafs are still open as black pictures with beta 3 in Lion, i think we can install in Lion but there's no raw support for it, is it that ? also i develop and come back to develop persona, does it loose some datas of the raw ? other than that it should be cool if it can be possible to stop a current operation after a mistake like click on develop or HDR for example by a cross in the little window of the baregraph… thanks

Hello, after the crash "garbage collection is off" i've installed the 1.5.2 beta 2, it doesn't crash but the raws, some cr2 and raf are totally black, no landscape to see… and in "profil" there's no button for camera profil, i jumped from 1.3 and i'm loosed, thanks for help .

Hello, jpeg and tiff export are never as good as jpeg from X pro 1, they are more cold in some colors, less contrasted, less sharpened,less brightened and i can't find a way to make a compensation on the raw before export, can someone help me ?

oh yes that helps ( the huge too ! ), i had result with the studio but i had didn't tried the assistant, then i tried i choose "dot not apply exposure bias" and one raw is less dark, another one has no change, and the apply is not effective instantaneously, i have to close and re-open the raw . other parameters does not change anything and open the raw like disable assistant . in affinity design we can't change these parameters, i think the raw is open like it is, i think (hope) like assistant disable, and i don't understand why it's change in affinity photo - beta of course- RAWs should be opened as they are (is there an "as they are" - a sRVB in the device should be the same sRGB in the soft ) i have not try "map default region"-don't know what it is, i'll search on the net, but for now, my MB late 2007 4GB and HDD make more noise than my washing machine and i can cook my eggs on its back ; with safari and the both affinity softs opened it's always swapping and the only testing operations are very long and tedious, so thanks again

hello, here CR2 and NEF sRGB opened in affinity designer or photographers editors here the same opened in affinity photo the all parameters are default and the same no problem with a jpg jpeg or png, only RAWs are bad so i can't try/work with affinity photo please send me an angel

hello, i'm very new in photo editing and for me that is dark, very dark when i open a raw ( no problem in Designer, then few minutes ago my little bird brain saw that : a way …? i'll try ! after that i'll sleep what i didn't sleep that night, and after sleeping i'll will try to learn about layers if i can understand the help and didactics in english (i'm french) so thanks for your perhaps helping question and good jobs to you . sorry i think the snapshot is to small, it's the preference panel-general tab
