  1. Thank you fde101 for providing the answer pertaining to how to enable the transform origin for the iPad, I have seen it in one of my online affinity classes but could not remember how, and their help info on the iPad is not very informative.
  2. A huge thank you to the both of you !!, Thank you both for the dedication, and time you both have put in helping me out. This fixed my issue I was having. Once again thank you, take care. You guys are awesome !! Sincerely, Todd
  3. Hello Again, Thank you for your response, I am going over the iPad version for my lesson. I just downloaded the lesson on this so you can see what I am trying to do and see exactly what I am trying to do. No matter what I do I just can't get it to work, I even tried it on my desk top version of affinity photo and can't get it to work on it either. So maybe you know of something that has changed or another way. Once again, Thank you Todd intro.mp4
  4. Hello, Thank you both for your responses, and trying to help me. So what I am trying to do is make a (Selection, then Recolor, then Invert selection, then Recolor the inverted selection), I think the issue is that there must be a glitch because when I invert, it does not make a new invert layer. I have used the long press on the screen to invert, when that did not create a new layer I then went to the commands button on top and that still does not make a new inverted layer. I did try out your idea of using the channels, but like you said it only affected the inverted layer and took away the recolor off the first selection. I am going through a course on affinity for the iPad and have reached out to them as well, and the instructor has advised that there is an issue. As I watched his video many times over and over to see what I was doing wrong, I had seen in his video that a new layer was created when he hit the invert button. Thank you so much for your responses Todd
  5. Hello, I am using a 2019 iPad Pro with iOS 14.4.2 and Affinity 1.9.1. and am having when using (invert) when using the selections persona. Everything seems to be working however I have noticed that when hitting invert it does not seem to create a new layer, I am guessing this is the issue, I have no idea. I am going through a course right learning affinity photo, and have spent a few hours trying and trying to make this work, restarting iPad, opening and closing app, I went to the settings and hit the reset to make sure everything was back to original Affinity settings. I made sure the picture I am using is a pixel layer, and I just can't figure out why this won't work. Looking forward to any suggestions you might have, I have looked for solutions on the internet and this forum and can't seem to find the answer. I took this screen recording so that you can see exactly what I am doing and also see everything I can think of to show you what the issue is. Thank you Todd RPReplay_Final1617283577.mp4
  6. Thank you Agypsy, and MEB !!, I was having the exact issue Agypsy was having, and did exactly what they did rebooting my iPad, going out of the app, restarting my lesson from Affinity Revolution, and following the steps exactly as they were doing them, and nothing worked until I read your forum info about turning off the Protect alpha, I had no idea it was on, I am also pretty new to photo editing, I guess this is how we learn. Thank you so much !!
