  1. I want to load Affinity Photo onto a new computer. IF it is a problem(?) the email address listed against the key for the main product is out of date, I see no way of changing this on that page. Main account details listed elsewhere are correct.
  2. You sell the product on strengths of accuracy and that is is the best choice. For the price it is great value and my commitment is demonstrated by my having been with you since the outset and Photoplus before that. From comments on this forum with regards the issues associated with sharpening( and it seems instability in other editing modes)you at Infinity/Serif seemed to do nothing about it. Where is your support in this KNOWN PROBLEM. Sort it or I go elsewhere.
  3. Thanks for all suggestions and variations to my theme. A few things for me to try. Is it fair to say this is a known issue?
  4. I am convinced something is not right within Affinity Photo, when using Unsharp Filter. Regardless of ratios of Radius/Factor, it visibly 'bounces' back to a less sharp image once processed. It has been a problem I have had for ages, maybe always, but I am either too aware or it IS getting worse. I have recently started using Repeat Unsharp mask just to get it looking as it showed it should. Why there is this function -not a clue - but it helps, but then the dreaded noise is awful. Any suggestions? Pls be aware. I have been using Affinity Photo since beta, so I feel happy with whats what, even if I only use a fraction of what it can do.
  5. Some time in the last 12 hours, having closed it down earlier I have lost all previous custom settings, toolbar tools and lost links to all plug ins. Please explain what happened. Using windows 10 no updates today, virus checked.

  7. The recent upgrade seems to have cured my problem of cropping. So thanks to whoever was listening
  8. somewhat of a delay - my apologies - I have checked the develop persona and set force pixel alignment on horizontal top bar option. All Transform settings are at zero. But I still get it. I have noted an update I will install and let you know if the problem persists
  9. Using Desktop Help F1 Menu I learnt how to do batch processing. I have a couple of jobs that would benefit. The first (6 small JPEGS) went through fine so I tried another image group of 3 similar 3 meg images, this time I included Noise reduction in the macro and 4or 5 other steps. Affinity not like that at all, it crashed, I reopened , tried again and it crashed again. No crash reports no nothing so I opened it back up again and posted this. I still have the Macro
  10. Still having the problem and it is getting annoying. I have checked the snapping to grid and ticked it. Still an issue. Pls assist
  11. I am using 16 / 9. When I drag the crop area to either of the horizontal borders I get this problem. I am editing up to 400+ images at the mo and it getting on my nerves having to go back in and either constrain it further at the same ratio or slice a bit off.I am not making any snapping constraints but simply using the crop tool.
  12. PS I am not a newbie, I have been using the software since before it was released, but against a different email account
  13. If I use a custom crop size(16:9) I will always get a slither of transparent border depending from which edge I crop from. This means I have to re-crop further. It is annoying.
