so many of these little simple things that were missed. I'm ready to cut my losses and go back to photoshop. I went all in with Affinity thinking it was the answer. I bought both photo and designer and all the filters after reading how great they were. Too many small issues like this is making basic productivity impossible and the simplest things a constant challenge. Ugh.

when I click open a file from Finder, that Affinity Photo come to the foreground with the file open when I access a feature that requires a value be entered, have the focus automatically be on that entry field so I don't then have to click it to enter a value. alt+drag to duplicate a selections and layers accessing a tool another time will have the previous value used automatically entered. I try to resist complaining about things that are different than Photoshop that I've used since the early 90s, but some of this stuff is just so frustrating and causing more moving back and forth between keyboard and mouse.
