don't know if I did it correctly, but went to adjustment, threshold and moved it down until the colors became white. Voila. Thanks so much. Still don't know why the replacement color tool didn't work, however.

I have a colored drawing that I would like to make black and white (to use as a coloring sheet for children). When I go to color replace the caramel colored shirt and select white as the replacement color, it colors it a dark grey, the other colors change but not to white, but as a somewhat pale version of the color, i.e. lavender becomes a beige, but not white. I have saved it as a jpeg and tried, same results as with an affinity photo doc. What's up?

Downloaded the official version of Publisher a couple of days ago, but don't know how to uninstall the Beta version on my MAC. Ideas? Guide?
