  1. -10mm or px should act as an absolute property

/1.1 should  resize relative to the last transformation

IMO it does not make sense that the -10mm input is seen as a relative property and resized after every transformation ....

If i resize an object it could be a relative or absolute input. I would choose to leave it as a relative input.

    Peace (y)

  2. I don´t think cloud sync for an entire Photo library I key to most people.

IMHO syncing Brushes and Color Paneles over iCloud would be pretty cool and absolutely enough.

In the future this could also include an iPad Version which I think is definitely going to arrive at some date.

Thinking of DAMs: I´m not a big fan of complex DAMs as I´ve said before here:

    https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/5336-file-system/?p=34539

Hopefully they will come up with an easy solution soon and build on top of that. (my personal opinion)

  3. In pages there is a shortcut to copy the Font/ Size etc of a section and past it to another one!

(Word does this with a sort of "brush" icon, maybe there also is a shortcut)

And googleDrive has also implemented this in his online Editor.

I just really find this feature incredibly helpful and I´m sure you would think so too!

This feature would suite Designer very well but would be also useful in the Photo Application.

It would be also absolutely perfect in the coming Publisher Application which I already can't wait to use  B)

    Peace out (y)

  4.  just read the new Affinity Review and want to quote Matt Priestley

„Making the pan and zoom feel so smooth was a massive challenge – I’ve spent such a lot of time on getting this to ‘feel’ right. I started off by writing it for the iPad 2 to make sure that a CPU-starved device would still deliver a great experience, then implemented it on OS X and kept on fine-tuning and benchmarking until we got it to ‘feel’ right.“

Auszug aus: Serif. „Affinity Review #2.“ iBooks.

With this in mind i think we could close this thread :)

    cheers!

  5. I agree, though for me the best database is the Aperture one. It has everything. Of course, it has not ported in its entirety to Photos, but this does indicate that it should be achievable using Mac OS to match the , keywords, star ratings and smart albums into Affinity.

I think everything is archivable with OS X, I just don´t want to push the expectations to high.

Star ratings and albums/ maybe a timeline view would be nice as an AddOn...

  6. I would like to propose a simpel Foto Viewer as I described here:

    https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/5336-file-system/&p=34539

It would be absolutely enough to start out with these 4 core points and maybe roll out one NEW (or Old Aperture) Feature.

This first basic version would be a sort of Teaser and the community can start thinking about the best additions.

I´ll re post my thoughts here:

The key points I´m looking for are

    1. display Photos in Fullscreen mode, go back and ahead with the arrow keys

    2. being able to delete photos by pressing backspace

    3. zooming in (this should be easy for Affinity  ;) )

    4. see Camera Settings in Grid mode (ISO, f, exposure time..)

A rating system is not primary necessary to me, as well as showing videos, not necessary.

I would really love to have these 4 key functions!!

Please do this  ;)it´s low hanging fruit!

    regards!

  7. Today i took a look at the macBook in an Apple Store.

I was surprised that they hat FinalCutPro installed an the machines but it offered me the possibility to mess around with it a little bit.

To my surprise it was´t to bad, there was some noticeable lag at some points but it´s possible to do some basic edits you would like to do on a 12 inch screen.

Office tasks were fluid as on a MacBook Pro or iMac. (really)

I would bet that Affinity is going to work fine on a MacBook 12 !

  8. Thank you very much for your answer!

I just used Affinity Photo to create a small creative poster, although i also have got PS, I used Affinity ;) it´s really NICE!

The Giraffe Team will hopefully manage it!

If there might be any further request I´ll be right here!

  9. In my opinion Picasa and iPhoto as well as the new Photo App are just really bad. The worst thing about Apples Photo Apps is that they want to keep their own folder structure, but my workflow is to organize the folders in the file system and I just need a lightweight viewer to switch through the Photos after a shoot and delete the bad ones.

The key points I´m looking for are

    1. display Photos in Fullscreen mode, go back and forth with the arrow keys

    2. being able to delete photos by pressing backspace

    3. zooming in (this should be easy for Affinity ;) )

    4. see Camera Settings in Grid mode in an EXIF Panel (ISO, f-stop, exposure time..)

I would really love to have these 4 key functions!!

Please do this ;) it´s low hanging fruit!

    EDIT

I´ve to add that RAW batch processing and rating systems are also desperately needed!

This makes it more difficult but you just HAVE TO do it

    - otherwise AP experience is just not close to Adobe´s eco system!
