Just seeing this now, that's what I figured, sad case. We're still awaiting the msi/exe installer for V2. I'm not really to worried about how long it will take but I wonder if there's a way I can sign up to be notified when its out

Here's a thought, I tried but was wildly unsuccessful:

Would it be easier to try to run the macos version of AP/AD than the windows version on linux. All i've found thus far is something called "darling" which is a compatibility layer for macos programs on linux, but I think there's basically zero support for ui programs (I've bought the universal license so I have access to both) **note, this is specifically about V2

I feel your pain. 2+ decades in IT before I retired and we got yanked around by MS a lot. Also by EMC, Sun, Novell, CA, SAP, SAS, IBM and even Red Hat ...   🤪

It's not just Linux Users who need a "normal" msi installer.. Those of us who need integration with any other photo tools (e.g. Lightroom 6) also need a "traditional" application and NOT some "Metro" App (APPX) crap.  (sorry - as an IT Professional, I hate  all APPX Apps - even standard ones built in to Windows like Photo Viewer and Calculator break ALL the time.. and trust me it's practically impossible to reinstall/repair them!!)

@Serif/Affinity: when will the .msi installer be available?

Hi all. Thanks for your patience over the weekend when our offices were closed.
We've had a meeting this morning and decided to ALSO offer MSI installers, to those people who would like them. I can't tell you when this will happen, as there is engineering work that will be required to allow this to happen, but we hope it won't be long.
    Thanks for your feedback!
