  1. I have 144 pages and i need to create the same margins on every page. How do i apply what is on one artboard to all the other artboards? Thanks, Jess
  2. ok thank you. Is there any way to turn off anti- aliasing? Im a print designer and need edges to always be crisp and stay as a solid colour for screen printing. I literally never want anti-aliasing on... //J
  3. i used the rectangle shape tool. After re-sizing a few times it gets this strange edge. Then even when I undo the re-sizing the edge doesnt go away. geos.afphoto
  4. The attached file is where two corners of two squares meet - one navy and one white. When i draw a square in affinity photo there is a blurred/semi transparent edge. how do i stop this? It seems to appear whenever I scale the squares. Thanks! Jess
  5. I have completed 1-4, however step 5 im a little confused. I have pasted style, the repeat has gone into the rectangle and is stretched. Is this correct? (see screen shot 1 ) step 6- if previous steps are correct, i come to activate the fill gradient tool and disable maintain fill aspect ration, but there middle handle is already in the centre, and point 7 refers to the right handle, however I dont have one... only left and top (see screenshot 1 also) then point 8 requires double clicking the top handle but that isnt doing anything... i have attached a screenshot of my gradient fill settings in case something is wrong there! Thanks Jess
  6. Hi Lee, Selecting the maintain fill aspect ratio doesn't seem to be doing anything... I must be doing something wrong or have some settings wrong maybe... Below I have tried to explain what im doing and tried to show what is happening! The box is filled with a colour, I click on the 'maintain fill aspect ratio' button, select bitmap from the dropdown, then select the png file and it fills the box but it is way bigger scale.... I don't understand! the png and document are both 300x300 resolution. I have attached two screenshots. On the left hand side of both screenshots is the png, and the red box is what i am wanting to fill. You can see the scale that it then fills with in the second screenshot. Any ideas? //J
  7. I didnt realise the file in affinity designer was in pixels, and the original file was in cm, created in photo. When i changed the designer file to cm it was as it should be!
  8. Hi, I am trying to fill a rectangle with a png, but at the same time I need to maintain the exact scale of the png. I have been able to fill the rectangle but cant figure out a way of maintaining the exact size of the repeat. Can you help!? Thanks
  9. When I am exporting a tiff or png file from my affinity file it seems the dimensions of the tiff/png are bigger than the AF file dimensions... why? Thanks! Jess
  10. I reduced the file size and then i was able to export as a psd... maybe just that my mac is getting to be a bit old for design purposes... Sorry that its something on my end, thank you so much for your help!
