ALLANSJACKSON Posted August 13, 2019 Share Posted August 13, 2019 I have been very impressed with Publisher but would like to make some suggestions to make it better for teams such as layout editors on magazines and newspapers. I'm speaking as one who supported a team who laid-out a variety of publications with set styles and a set variety of page components. The workflow was that we'd work on one publication at a time with each laying out some of the pages and we could not have achieved a consistent style without page templates with styles which could be easily updated centrally and libraries of components such as call-outs, reverse blocks etc. Oh, and the most important thing. FULL Indesign compatibility. It's the factor that will be limiting more widespread adoption of Publisher. Quark is pretty good but they made the same mistake.
