Moving to a new iMac

Recommended Posts

I currently have Affinity Photo installed on my iMac which is past it's best, so I have just ordered a new iMac which will be delivered at the end of next week. How do I transfer the application and my existing licence from my current iMac to my new machine?

Also how do I find out what my licence code is?

If you've purchased through the App Store, you just reinstall (or copy over via Migration Assistant). If you purchased through the Affinity Store, go back to https://store.serif.com, log into your account, "Downloads and Product Keys".

From the licensing, you can run it on both so there's no "transfer between them" as such.

As a private individual, you can download, install, use and run for personal use, one copy of the Serif Software directly on each computer running either (depending on your purchased license) Microsoft Windows (“Windows Computer”) or macOS (“Mac Computer”) that you personally own or control.
