Silkscreen Half tone for Affinity Designer 1.7

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm new to Affinity Designer (just bought it few weeks ago). I'm currently using it to design t-shirt (silkscreen method), which requires me to put in half-tone (in various gradation since the printing will use single color). How do I do that in Affinity Designer ?

I've been looking at the filling options for each shape (and the fill tool), and I couldn't find a single option to fill with pattern (that was what I did for other software, fill with different pattern to generate monochrome gradation in silkscreen).

Thank you for your help

Best Regards,

-Daniel

Hi @Daniel Widyanto

With the fill tool selected, if you click on 'Type' from the context toolbar, in the drop-down menu there is an option for 'Bitmap' you are then directed to select an image, pattern, photo etc from your files on your computer, there no premade pattern fills.
