ABP
A year ago I went over to Quark to escape InDesign. But I believe Quark has begun to lose focus. First of all, their reduced features version for Apple is called Quark Pro. Big mistake, because it sounds as if it is better, which it isn't. They could have called it, e.g., something like Quark Edit, if, as they say, it had to be different. (I am assuming that Publisher bought from Apple is the same as when bought from Affinity, as I have . . . ?) Secondly, Quark's new so-called Advantage annual payment for each new release is very expensive, so Quark has now lost me for future releases. Congratulations to Affinity for Publisher, which at its price is a no-brainer. Sure, everything is not yet perfect, but it is very very good. So, my message to the powers that be at Affinity: stay focused, continue well and fine, don't fall into any Quarkish or InDesignish traps. Thank you, Anthony
