AP: Edges of a shape / path are pixelated when a mask is added

Recommended Posts

I have a shape / path that has an image as a nested layer. I copied these shapes and added a mask to some of them, to blend the shapes together.

In AP everything looks fine, but when I export, those shapes / paths that have a mask will render very pixelated, the other shapes without a mask are rendered fine.

I have provided some example images.

I tried to change the resampling algorithm, but it doesn't seem to help.

  • Example 1 shows just the shapes without a mask.
  • Example 2 shows the same shapes but with the mask enabled.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the rendering engine of AF?

BTW I also imported the project in AD to see if it is rendered differently, but unfortunately the exported image looks the same as in AP.

Hmm the attached images are resampled again and don't look the same as on my computer. You have to export the images from the attached project file (and disable the two masks if they aren't already).

I exported in PNG, but it looks the same with JPEG.
