hevonen
Current square bracket shortcuts do not work on non-US keyboards. It would be preferable to allow more "logical" keys for object z-arrangement, like pgup/pgdown and home/end. Customizable shortcuts would solve this, but they will also add problems on their own as there will inevitably be shortcut clashes as the software progresses. Achim63
Though I have the same problem with my German keyboard layout, PgUp or Home keys would be even worse, since the small wireless Apple keyboard doesn't have them. As a workaround, you can use System Preferences/Keyboard to define app specific shortcuts by typing in the menu entry label - I changed them to Cmd+"ö" and Cmd+"ä" (the keys to the right of "L" on a German keyboard). Plus Shift key to move all the way to front/back. So as long as there's a corresponding menu item, commands can be changed to whatever shortcut you fancy. If people knew that this possibility is built into OSX, we wouldn't even need customizable shortcuts inside AD, only menu items for everything that is assignable. hevonen
Nice, thanks for the tip! True about pgup/pgdown not existing on laptops but I meant those as additional shortcuts to current ones.
