Affinity Photo freezes when trying to export

Recommended Posts

Sometimes the following happens:

  • I click 'Export slices' in the Export persona.
  • A dialog titled 'Select the folder into which the exported files should be saved'
  • A spinning beach ball appears and everything freezes. At this point I have to force quit and hope I can restore my work.

Also note how in my screenshot something in the directory listing seems to be off. Is this a bug? I'm Affinity Photo 1.6.11 on a MacBook Air with macOS version 10.14.2.

Maybe a being low of memory or swapping problem on Mojave, hard to tell. - Does it just happen there when exporting slices?

Is that default shown folder (save directory location) on your local disk or some shared network or cloud storage location?

Ok if that is an usually accessable (user write permissions enabled etc.) folder, it might be an APh under MacOS Mojave problem here. You can file in a bug report here.
