Very new to Photo and using both tutorials and the Work Book to get a grasp of the basics initially.  I notice that both in the Tutorials and Work Book images, panels such as the Levels Panel, have in the very top left corner 3 small circles, red in the very left corner followed by 2 white. These are not displayed on my own software and assume I have missed something in the setup procedures. I note in the tutorials that the red spot is used to exit the panel  and obviously I am concerned that being unable to follow this route will affect performance. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Hi @Jaykay

Welcome to the forum.

Quite a lot of Affinity stuff is done using a Macintosh. It will therefore look a bit different on a Windows PC, which I assume is what you are using.

This is how Levels looks on a PC, with both dark or light interfaces.

It is always a good idea to state what OS you are using when asking a question because there are a few differences. As you have just found out.

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

Very much appreciate the prompt and helpful advice given above. Had assumed it was a setup error on my part and didn't consider the Mac option. I will certainly make sure in future  to state the OS.

Many Thanks

JayKay
