Hi all, I am hoping to move away from the expensive Photoshop to Affinity. I've read a lot of good things about it so am confident it can be done but there are a few tools I use in PS that I'm struggling to find. I am by no means a power user and what I do is relatively basic stuff but it is important to me. I create 12x12 artwork for CDs and a lot of this involved adding various layers of images and manipulating them. I'M DOING A LOT OF TRIAL AND ERROR SO I WILL UPDATE HERE IF I FIGURE THINGS OUT IN CAPS LIKE THIS!

Right click on a selected image and fill it with a colour. RIGHT CLICK SEEMS LIMITED SO I GUESS IT'S JUST BUCKET FILL THE SELECTIONS RIGHT?
Paint Bucket / Pain Brush 'Clear' mode - leaving a selected area transparent so I can add another image underneath it. - STILL STRUGGLING TO FIND A CLEAR OPTION FOR BUCKET AND BRUSH
Scew / Distort / Perspective / Warp transformations for selected areas. STILL CAN'T FIND
Polygonal Lasso Tool - I'd like to create a distinct area on my background and then make it transparent - STILL CAN'T FIND
Line Tool so I can draw various lines of different thickness - FOUND IN THE CONTEXT MENU UNDER THE PEN TOOL... GETTING THERE SLOWLY BUT SURELY!

Anyway, maybe I'm stupid but it's causing me a few issues so any tips on these bits would be appreciated. I have 10 days of the trial remaining and if I can master it I will be buying it but coming from PS makes it hard to understand and learn!

Thanks for reading

To fill a selection go Edit > Fill or (Shift + F5)

There is a Liquify Persona or a Mesh Warp Tool.

Lasso tool is in a group with the marquee tools (called Free hand Selection Tool)

Set to Polygonal

If you make a selection with any tool, press Delete to make it clear (transparent if the document is set to be transparent).
