Fastest way of copying Mask between layers

Quickest way I've found to copy a mask between layers:

1. Select source layer.
2. Open Channels panel, right-click [source layer name] Alpha, Create Spare Channel.
3. Select destination layer.
4. In Channels panel, right click Spare Channel, Load to [destination layer name] Alpha.

Anyone found a faster way?

I duplicate (ctrl+J) the mask, then drag it down to the layer I want to apply to.
