cxi2001
Hi there, I'm shooting CR2 files on a Canon 60D, using Affinity on a Mac Pro running OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite. As i understand it the camera is supported by Affinity for this version of OS X. But, my CR2 Raw files look soft, mushy, when imported into Affinity, not as sharp as they look either from the desktop or via Canon's DPP 4 software. I have used the Canon software to export a hi-res TIFF and that looks soft as well in Affinity. I have loaded the same files into Photoshop and they're really sharp. Any suggestions would be welcome . Nick
v_kyr
As default APh doesn't apply any auto presharping and contrasts settings etc. to RAW files when importing those. Meaning here, it leaves them more or less in a very neutral (as is) state in contrast to other RAW converters. So you have to apply such settings on your own for RAW images inside APh or make yourself some presets for these.
