jedorme Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 As a Fuji X-E2 & X100S user, I know that Raw conversion & editing software makers have found their X-Trans sensor, a non-Bayer type, very challenging, & the results accepted or viewed with varying degress of success among the Fuji user groups. How have the folks at Affinity dealt with this new sensor type? Are there any other Fuji users out there using the Beta software with Raw conversion & editing, & what do they think about it compared to Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One or any others? I have been primarily a JPEG shooter up to now due to these difficulties but would like to try to use the Affinity Photo Beta to try my hand at working with Raw if this new from the ground up software approach is able to better manage these Fuji issues. I have tried Photoshop, Lightroom & finally settled on using Aperture 3, but have kind of given up on Raw conversion & editing.
AggieFAN86 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Have you attempted, to apply a fille conversion, from the .raf format to .dng file? (Camera RAW) I have only so far tested an X100 file, and would soon need to test my XE1/XPro1 files
summiter Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 X-T1 raw files open well now. They were a bit dodgy in the beginning.
