Mvdarbs Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Hi Folks, After some help again. I have a logo I am trying to export for me to use in a Wordpress site. I have created my document (1200 x 300px) with a transparent background selected. I created he logo (Basic white text) and then exported it as a Jpeg. When I then uploaded into Wordpress all i get is a white background colour. Any ideas or suggestions? Cheers Mark Quote
toltec Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Do not use JPEG. JPEG files do not support transparency, so the background will always be white (or a colour if you set one in Matte). Use PNG files instead, they do support transparency. Mvdarbs 1 Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
rectifier Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 (edited) Jpeg format doesn't support transparency: what you're seeing is the white text against the white background substituted during exporting. Try png? D'Oh! just too slow... toltec beat me to it. Edited September 1, 2018 by rectifier duplication of other's answer Mvdarbs 1 Quote
