gstepic
I am playing around with the trial version and cannot figure out of there is a lens profile for my Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens. Does the software automatically recognize the lens and if it does not then that means there is not a profile for it. I want to see if I can defish the image. h_d
Hi @gstepic, Does the camera itself recognise the lens? If it's a fully manual lens (no autofocus, no aperture control, no electrical connection...) then no EXIF data will be written to images shot with that lens. You can check this either in View-Studio-EXIF: Or in the contextual menu: Both the above shots were taken with a fully manual lens - the camera data (and much more) has been written to the image, but there's no lens metadata. And if the lens metadata isn't there in the original image, then no software will recognise the lens. gstepic
thanks, I think you nailed the problem. I also noticed that lens not one of the supported lenses. h_d
