Layer mask: Remove that little grey circle + other requests

Hi,

Is there any chance you guys could remove that little grey circle on the bottom left of every layer mask? I don't think there's any practical reason for it to be there. On the contrary, it usually confuses me because I can't see the entire mask shape, especially when I need to mask something at that exact position.

Besides, I'd just like to request general improvements when it comes to selecting and taking actions with masks. For example, right now the border that appears when selecting a mask vs a photo are not so clear; Ctrl + I sometimes doesn't invert the mask but the photo instead.
