MarkSweeney Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 In Photoshop, comic book colorists use an Alpha channel set to black instead of a Layer (so you don't eyedropper colors from the black line art, as would happen if it were on a layer on top of the color art). Is there a way to set Affinity Photo alpha channels the same way? Right now alpha channels mask out the color layer, instead of appearing over top the way it does in Photoshop (shown below) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dale Posted March 5, 2015 Share Posted March 5, 2015 Hi Mark If you click the gradient icon on the Channels panel for your Alpha channel, it'll create you a luminosity layer where the alpha is black, does that help?
