BobTDouglas
I have purchased both Affinity Photo and Designer for use on my iMac and PowerBook computers. Unfortunately my PowerBook has ceased to work ( after 10 years) and I have now got a new laptop but it runs Windows 10. I have been to my Downloads and Keys page but I can’t find either of the he applications there, only the free extra items which were on offer at time of purchase. I would obviously like to continue running Photo and Designer on my new computer but as I have just bought a new computer I do not have funds to buy the software again just to use on Windows. Please advise.
Staff MEB Posted June 2, 2018 Staff Share Posted June 2, 2018 Hi BobTDouglas, Welcome to Affinity Forums Each platform requires its own license. If you have bought the applications for Mac you can only install them on Mac computers. To run them on Windows you must adquire a new license through the Affinity Store or Microsoft Store. BobTDouglas
Thank you for prompt reply. I had a feeling your answer was the case. Unfortunately I will have to hope my remaining Mac computer, which is 11 years old and beginning to cause glitches, or it will be a while before I can afford to renew the software as my wallet is empty after having to replace my laptop. Thanks again.
