Gavin Beckford
Congratulations on what is shaping up to be a great piece of software. I am an Aperture user actively seeking to migrate to a stable, efficient, and capable Photo Management/Editing software. I have been evaluating various trial versions of all your main competitors, however, I am enjoying the quality of your RAW conversions and the depth of features in your package. One item that I believe needs more attention is the Media browser. Right now, it is not very intuitive and lacks some critical features. I don't know to what extent you intend to address Photo Management, but I believe your software could benefit greatly from a strong photo management module, which allows for ranking (stars/colors/keepers/etc.), smart accumulations, and deep search parameters, such as those found in Aperture. If you can accomplish this, you will definitely have my support, as this is the one thing that has me leaning towards Lightroom. I already have Nik and OnOne Software to supplement my editing requirements, but apart from Lightroom, nobody is seriously addressing the need for effective Photo Management. Hopefully you will change that. If I can use your software to import my Photos, interpret & tweak my RAW files, do some heavy post-processing, then round trip through other applications to give me the final polish on my images, I'm on board. Thanks and good luck. Regards, Gavin Beckford
