A number of scientific cameras have 12 bit sensors. The images are saved in a TIFF 16 bpc image, but apps like ImageJ or Fiji are “smart” enough to display them as 12 bpc automatically.

I would LOVE Affinity Photo to be able to do the same and properly display these images.

(and I’ve seen the other thread about 10 bpc support, but this is different: I’m not talking about the hardware of my display, but indeed about images encoding the intensities per channel over 12 bit instead of the usual 8 or 16)
