Bob Coughlan Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Good day I've seen one or two posts regarding the limited list of countries to which it is shipped. I'd like to understand why I am unable to have the workbook shipped to South Africa. I understand our postal service isn't the most reliable Surely it can be handled door-to-door by a reputable courier, for which I'm quite prepared to pay the extra cost. Can someone please explain the reason for the limited list of shipping destinations and whether there are any plans to expand this list any time soon. I've tried Amazon, and even the suppliers of the copies on Amazon don't ship to South Africa. I'd really like to purchase two copies, for myself and a friend. We both recently purchased Affinity Designer and really want some structured learning projects. Thanks Bob Coughlan Johannesburg South Africa Quote
Adam Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Hi Bob, It's a good question, and I'll certainly look about answering it for you. Originally, we did provide the option for shipment to South African addresses, but we had to remove this option for a number of reasons. The main reason is because many orders had taken an inordinate amount of time to arrive at their destination, and some didn't arrive at all. I can't see this changing any time soon and, as a result, South Africa will probably remain off the shipping list for the foreseeable future. My apologies for this inconvenience. If you send an email to affinitysupport@serif.com, quoting my name (Adam) and this thread title (Affinity Designer Workbook shipping destinations), I'm sure we can look into a solution for you. Thanks for your time, Adam Bob Coughlan 1 Quote
