Vively Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Dear sirs, I tried for more than 10 times to create atmosphere in some of my pictures, using the instructions you gave in Vimeo - Affinity Photo - Creating Atmosphere. I got stuck all the time at the same point, using the brush 6 as instructed, therefore the brush doesn't work as expected. The effect of the brush does not appear at any time. I'm using Affinity 1.5.2 updated. I have Affinity installed in I Mac with OS Sierra updated. Please, could you provide me some additional instructions how to proceed with this editing. jhoy Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Hi Vively Once you have put the mask on the pixel layer, on the layers tab expand the pixel layer to show the mask, select the mask, if you now select the brush tool and brush type, select the black on the colour tab, you should see the effect as you paint it erases the mask to show the original picture on the background layer.
