So I scanned it in small parts and tried to use New Panorama to create one stitched foto from it. While typically a lens has a bent picture scans are completely straight, but can have a slight rotation. So I wished there was a why to simple prevent the stitching from any lens factor parameters and only allow affine transformations position+rotation. The current result has the attached kind of edge (it's a bit hard to see how it's bent as there is due to the bending also a miss rotation going on) All the best Christoph Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jerzy Posted January 4, 2017 Share Posted January 4, 2017 You need a stitching software that has an option for lens focal length entry. Specify very long lens, for example 2 degrees lens (this will approximate scanner very well). Try Hugin Panorama, free, good quality, and not extremely friendly UI.
