I have recently been experiencing issues around my publisher software which Iaccess via my Apple Mac Book M1 pro laptop.

When I open the software, the page displays outside the parametres of the screen. When I attempt to grab the page and move it so I can resize, nothing moves. So i am stuck being unable to use either side bars. The actual software works fine, so i can access tabs and make changes to a project.

Welcome to the forums @BradW

What do you mean by “page”?

Can you show us a full-screen (whole application UI) screenshot so we can see what you can see, and tell us which bit of it you are referring to as the “page”?

As you can see in the screen shot, the main page is larger than my screen so needs to be resized, buit when I try to grab the page and move it, nothing happens. So i cant see the side bars to do my work.

Thanks for the image.

Is that really a full-screen screenshot?

I only ask as something weird seems to be happening over on the right, at the top/bottom-right especially.

Are you (or were you at some point) using multiple screens?

Not sure what happened in the first photo, try this, it does cover the entire screen.

Yes i use 2 screens

Thanks, that looks more like it.

Are you using two screens at this moment?

If so, can you see any of the Publisher application window, or the Panels, on the other one?

(I probably can’t help with fixing the problem but I’m, hopefully, getting information for others to use.)

Hi

I have resolved the issue, by disconnecting the 2nd screen. This allowed me to re-size the screen on my laptop.  This has happened several times over the last few months and only with the Affinity software, so not sure if there is an issue with the the use of multiple screens.

Thanks
