griechnut Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before. I searched but was unable to find any solution. I have a document for an RPG game, where one of the ToC entries is quite long. It overlaps the first row of its entry and I cannot find a setting that would fix it for me. It appears all settings I try have an impact on the entire ToC Paragraph style so increasing the leading etc does not bring the desired result (of just increasing the space when there is a line break(?). Here is the example from the document. Any help would be must appreciated! Thanks! p.s Changing the title of that entry is tough, since it corresponds to map points on a fantasy map. Quote
MikeTO Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Hi @griechnut and welcome to the forums. Are you looking at Character > Position & Transform > Leading Override or at Paragraph > Spacing > Leading? The former won't have any effect if you change it for the paragraph style but the latter will. griechnut Posted February 7 Author Posted February 7 Hi and thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately it's not what I'm looking for. Although paragraph leading will indeed fix the problem, it does not provide the entire desired result. As you see from the screenshot, yes it solved the overlapping, but it also significantly increased the leading of the entire paragraph style (like between rope bridge and sinking shrine). Quote
MikeTO Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Check the values for Space Before, Space After, and Space Between Same Styles in the same section of the Paragraph panel. If they're all set to 0 there will be no space between the paragraphs of text. griechnut Posted February 8 Author Posted February 8 That a lot. That did it :). A combination of space between same styles and paragraph leading. MikeTO 1 Quote
