crucco Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Hi there, I discovered recently that expand stroke of a vector turns the resulting outline in to a form with hard corners instead of rounded ones. As this used to work correctly for me – at least I thought so but have discovered old files with the same problem – I am now uncertain whether this is a bug or a wrong setting I touched accidentally. I am using Designer 2.5.7. Thanks in advance for your help. GGscreen_ 2025-02-04 um 09.21.21.mp4 Quote
GarryP Posted February 4 Posted February 4 There are various problems with the Expand Stroke functionality and this looks like one which has already been reported, for example: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/204856-expand-stroke-on-affinity-designer-25-macos/#findComment-1309759 If you go to one of the Bugs sections of the forums and search for expand stroke you will see what’s already known and if there are any ‘workarounds’. GarryP Posted February 4 Posted February 4 You're welcome. The thread I gave a link to has a couple of official bug tags so if you follow that thread you should get notifications from the Affinity Info Bot if something gets fixed. Quote
