Hyakuya_Akira Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Hi everyone, I recently switched from Photoshop to your software, and I’m really impressed with the features—it works great for my needs! However, I noticed that the software currently only supports Simplified Chinese. As someone who uses Traditional Chinese (from Taiwan, Hong Kong, or Macau), I sometimes struggle to find the corresponding functions or terms, which makes it a bit harder to use. There are quite a lot of users from regions that use Traditional Chinese, and adding support for it would definitely make the software more user-friendly for us. It could also help attract more people from these areas to use the software. I hope the team will consider adding a Traditional Chinese language option in the future! I’m looking forward to seeing the software get even better. Thanks for all the hard work you’ve put into it! TAKU412 1
TAKU412 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I totally agree with Hyakuya_Akira, too. As an image processing worker and website designer in Taiwan. When I saw Affinity Photo 2, I was amazed! This is the Adobe Photoshop alternative I've been looking for for a long time. (I'm sure we all hate that annoying paid subscription mechanism) So after the trial period expired, I purchased Affinity Photo 2 through the Black Friday special offer. However, the thing I am most uncomfortable with now is the incompatible "Simplified Chinese" interface translation. I sincerely hope that the official can include "Traditional Chinese", which is widely used by Taiwanese, in Affinity Photo in the future. Hyakuya_Akira 1
iovoi Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I'm grateful for this software, but unfortunately, it doesn't have Traditional Chinese available. I just tried it! I hope the administrators can provide feedback to the software development team. Currently, using AI, it should be easy to translate Simplified Chinese into Traditional Chinese. Any differences in wording and details can be gradually refined based on feedback. I'd really like to see Traditional Chinese added. Thank you!
