Edited January 19 by AvdB Quote
MikeTO Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Can you share a screenshot of what is happening when you turn on "Baseline Grid" for the header so we can see what you don't want? AvdB Posted January 19 Author Posted January 19 Hi MikeTO Herewith a picture of the situation when the baseline grid is set. I sincerely hope you can do something with this. Thank you very much in advance! Quote
AvdB Posted January 19 Author Posted January 19 Here is what I just found. The leading for headings must be 15,6 pt? And not 14,0 pt. Is that right? Quote
MikeTO Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I asked for a screenshot showing what happens when you turn baseline grid off for the heading. The screenshots are confusing because we can see the grid but not the baseline grid. I suggest turning the grid off and showing the baseline grid or zooming in enough that the baseline grid is visible. I want to see where the heading appears when the baseline grid for the heading is turned off. The Grid Spacing should be set to the same as the body paragraph leading. If your body text has leading of 14 then the baseline grid should be 14, too. AvdB Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Hi MikeTO. Sorry for the inconvenience. Herewith a new attempt. Thanks! Quote
MikeTO Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I'm confused - the body text is also not aligned to the baseline grid. Did you turn it iff for the heading and the body text? I thought you just wanted the heading not to be aligned to the grid. It's up to you, but normally those who use a baseline grid align everything to the grid, including the headings. The only exception is typically for things like an image or figure caption that uses small text and which would be too widely spaced if it was aligned to the grid. Allemaal gezet in Adobe Hebrew. Hartelijk gegroet vanuit Nederland, Arend Quote
