Franz Rogar Posted January 16 Posted January 16 BASIC INFO App & version: Publisher 2.5.7 OS & version: Windows 11 (up-to-date) Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (up-to-date) Hardware acceleration: On & Off Reproducibility: Always Affects new document?: Yes WHAT HAS HAPPENED Hitting "Toggle UI" via hotkey, does not hide some pop-up UI objects which would have been hidden via "View>Toggle UI". I've configured it as "Alt+Shift+D", though it shouldn't matter which combination you choose. WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED The objects should hide when activating "Toggle UI" too, regardless it being launched via menu or hotkey. MINIMAL STEPS TO REPRODUCE Open Publisher Create a hotkey for "Toggle UI" Create a new document Create a text frame Write something in the text frame and select it. At "Window>Text>Character" panel & "View>Show Context Toolbar", color pickers (both foreground & background) are still shown if "Toggle UI" hotkey is pressed, everything else is hidden. This applies to all color pickers as far as I know (Text Frame, Stroke/Fill, etc.) At "Window>Text>Character" panel & "View>Show Context Toolbar", font family drop-down list is still shown if "Toggle UI" hotkey is pressed, everything else is still shown instead of being hidden, meaning the hotkey is ignored. BUG Some pop-up/drop-down objects are not hidden if "Toggle UI" changes via hotkey. Quote
