Taisia John Posted January 8 Posted January 8 "In Affinity Publisher 2, I'm working with a document that contains both regular text frames and tables. When I add footnotes to text within a table, they appear directly beneath the table instead of being placed at the bottom of the text frame with other footnotes from the main text. I need all footnotes to appear together at the bottom of the text frame, regardless of whether they're referenced from the main text or from within tables. Is there a setting or workaround to achieve this consistent footnote placement?" Quote
MikeTO Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Hi @Taisia John This is a known limitation of the footnote feature in Publisher. MikeTO Posted January 8 Posted January 8 One workaround you could try is to create the footnote immediately following the table (on the same page). Then add a cross-reference to that footnote from within the table to make the number appear where you want it. Then tweak the footnote following the table so its number is hidden. It's a bit of a hassle but it should work.
