Flattening an item with a warp applied removes the warp before flattening.

Attempting to use “convert to curves” on a group, or selection of warp groups and regular groups, through the menu results in empty groups and eliminating the warped layers entirely. I have not attempted this with ungrouped layers.

Flattening does work if every warp to be flattened is selected individually before applying convert to curves. It will not work if there is *any* non-warp group included in the selection, and deletes everything, even if the group is only holding a warp group.

Having to manually go in and expand every group of warps and select one at a time is tedious and counter-intuitive—especially as 1) a comparable function, expand stroke, works perfectly in this workflow it seems I must have ungrouped before expanding, in which case, this behaviour far more intrusive than if just for warps 2)using convert to curves converts the warp group to a regular group—leaving assorted groups dotting the file when warping unless one manually removes them every time, and 3) convert to curves used on a warp-within-a-warp applies both, with no option to apply the top level warp to the next one (warp) down, so it seems like the behaviour should already be there.

This adds a *lot* of unnecessary work to what could be a simple flatten function—or better, expand and then combine steps.

(the ability to transform multiple warp nodes together like we can individual nodes (rotate, scale, align, etc) would also be very helpful.)
