aki256 Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 After updating my Affinity Designer to 2.5.6, I've been having problems with the print dialog window being very laggy, making it very difficult to make changes efficiently before sending to print. What would take me maybe 15 seconds on 2.5.5 now takes a few minutes. A fix may be on the way for this issue in the next update but since this is rather frustrating and really slowing down my workflow, I'd like to return to 2.5.5 until maybe 2.5.7 is released. Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing it? I'm on macOS 15.1.1, and the print dialog lag only occurs with Affinity apps, so it appears to be a problem with the update rather than a macOS or printer driver problem. Quote
MikeTO Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 I haven't experienced this myself or seen any other reports of it on this forum so before you downgrade Affinity, I'd first try clearing print presets, removing and adding back printers, and that sort of thing.
