seltzdesign
I am using Affinity Designer 2 and created some pictograms, which I am using in some diagrams. I turned the pictograms into symbols and now want to replace some of the pictograms I have already used in diagrams with the symbols so I can update them later if needed. I could not find a way to "Replace with symbol" or a similar function. I was also hoping there is a "Paste and replace", which a few programs have. That would also be okay, then I could just copy the symbol and "Paste and replace" the pictograms. Is there a built in way to do this? GarryP
As far as I know there is no paste and replace functionality for layers. See here for another question about the same sort of thing: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/163571-how-to-copy-size-and-location-of-one-layer-to-another/ And this thread eventually gets round to a similar thing: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/148084-designer-how-are-you-supposed-to-resize-multiple-objects/ There is at least one feature request for this: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/214020-copy-paste/
