Crashes on Windows10 when exporting

I am having the exact same issue reported here and only since 20th of June 2024 - up to then it has worked fine.  When I click on File / Export - the app hangs and I have to end task to exit it. 

Event Viewer is giving this message:

The program Designer.exe version 2.5.2.2486 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

Security & Maintenance in Control Panel says its an application failure:

 

I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, and downloaded the other file option on the website, and still it doesn't export - I also checked for any Windows security updates in the last 48 hours that might have affected it and there was nothing.

Please help, I have a deadline to meet.

Maybe it is related to some object(s) that you have added recently, and they have some security settings for exporting. For instance some fonts do.
If you have fonts there, try to convert them to curves.

You can try "binary division" of your design, the bruteforce method. Create an copy of your design file and delete 1/2 of the objects - for instance right half. Then save it and try to export.

• If it fails, repeat the delete process until it exports (hopefully) and somewhere from the last deletion there will be your object responsible for crashing.
• If it exports, the bad guy is somewhere from the last deletion. Create copy of your original file again and delete less objects. Save and try to export. Repeat until you find the source of the problem.

Tedious process but I've found some problems with this method in different projects.

@hunter_sk thanks, unfortunately It happens when I create a new file and just draw a circle.

I had created my image last week and exported it fine a number of times 

I've changed nothing more than the colour of a trapizod 

Issue definitely seems to be with app rather than image I've created
