Parts of the screen are flickering (blank) when working in 32 bits and 8K - also influencing tools and export

Recommended Posts

Working with 8K 32bit .exr files causes random blank areas over the canvas. Probably tile rendering is doing something wrong. The issue is influencing the tools as well like inpainting brush and it is in the exported .exr as well so it's not just a preview. The export is attached here as well it's even more destroyed than the viewport.

Could someone help me with that, please?

I have everything up to date, the PC is brand new with RTX 4070 ti. See the full specs bellow. Affinity settings are default.

Hi Mirolsav Samanek,

Do you have hardware acceleration enabled in Edit > Settings > Performance?

Could you possibly try the latest non studio drivers from Nvidia, the Studio drivers are often quite far behind the regular drivers and in general do not offer the same level of performance and stability in 2d and 3d and computational cases, at least in my own experience.
