Cannot load any files with Affinity Pro 2.11 the application hangs

Cannot load any files with Affinity Pro 2.11 the application hangs every time.

I have even uninstalled the application and re-installed. Still no Joy.

I have the latest version of MacOS 13.5 running;

This was working prior to 2.11

This should not be happening with software.

I need this fixed right away!

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Are you able to create a new document in 2.1.1? Try creating a new document and saving it. Are you able to re-open it?

If you're opening a file from an external drive, network drive, or cloud drive, try copying a document to the root of your hard drive and opening it from there. Does that work?

Try starting Affinity while holding down Ctrl (press it immediately after clicking the icon) and you'll be shown a screen to clear user defaults. Do that and then try to open the document.
