Affinity suddenly crashes when trying to open files

I was working in a file, the app crashed and now when the program reopens it acts like its trying to load files from recovery but then the program just closes.  No crash message, no alert, just closes.

What is likely the issue here?  It seems to be doing it on all files. I am able to see a thumbnail preview of the file in the my computer file manager.

I did make an attempt to install 2.1 beta and have since uninstalled when that wouldn't work either.

Please advise.

We can close this thread....

If anyone else has this issue. Uninstall 2.1, close all Affinity processes, reinstall 2.1 and you should be good to go.
