Shea Valentine Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Working in an Affinity Publisher File (Windows 10, AFP 2.0.4), whenever I load the file I get CTD. There are no Crash Reports in the crash report folder. LM 2023 Base.afpub Quote
MikeTO Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Hi @Shea Valentine and welcome to the forums. I'm able to open your document in 2.0.4 and the 2.1 beta without issues so I suspect the issue is with the linked resources. You only have two resources in this document, two copies of the same file, so you could try renaming the resource file and then opening the document. Don't accept the invitation to re-link the resources. Instead find images in the document, delete them, and place them again. That should solve the issue. I believe Serif has been working to correct this issue in 2.1. Shea Valentine Posted April 2, 2023 Author Posted April 2, 2023 (edited) Thank you. I appreciate this, but I tried to rename the linked resources to no avail. I suspect it might be a font issue. It happened after I tried to expand the pages for overflowed text. I got new pages with no text, then it thinks, then it crashed. Reopening, the new pages are saved, but it won't render them. I also downloaded the Beta to try that, and it didn't work. Edited April 2, 2023 by Shea Valentine Quote
Shea Valentine Posted April 2, 2023 Author Posted April 2, 2023 Wait. No, you were right. It was the resource. Now if I can figure out why the text isn't showing up... MikeTO 1 Quote
Shea Valentine Posted April 2, 2023 Author Posted April 2, 2023 Relinking the textflow made it show up. Autoflow doesn't seem to consistently be showing the text. Quote
